Licensed by the State of Colorado for surface and underground blasting—and equipped to obtain reciprocal credentials in neighboring states such as Wyoming, Utah, and Idaho—we deliver comprehensive solutions that meet both regulatory and operational demands.

Brian Briggs



Managing Member / Professional Engineer



Brian is a seasoned engineering professional with over 30 years of experience spanning civil and mining disciplines. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Mining Option, as well as a Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering—both from the University of Wyoming. As a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, Brian has successfully led complex, large-scale projects across diverse terrains and sectors. His strategic leadership and focus on team development, safety, and professional growth have cultivated high-performing teams that consistently exceed client expectations. Brian’s industry insight and unwavering commitment to excellence have fostered a culture of precision, innovation, and reliability. His ability to transform client visions into technically sound, impactful solutions continues to set a benchmark in engineering excellence.



Carrie Briggs



Managing Member / Accounting / HR



Over the past 30 years, Carrie has built a diverse and comprehensive career in administrative, accounting, and legal roles across industries including mining, law, accounting, and real estate development. Her extensive experience equips her with the expertise to ensure the seamless operation of our accounting and human resources departments. Known for her attention to detail and proactive approach, Carrie consistently delivers a positive and efficient experience for our clients



Ashlee Briggs



Office Manager / Field Inspector / HR



Ashlee brings a broad range of skills and responsibilities to her position. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, she serves as our Office Manager and handles Human Resources responsibilities. Ashlee ensures that all company licenses and credentials remain current and actively secures new certifications as we continue to grow. In addition to her administrative leadership, she conducts field inspections to uphold the highest standards of quality and workmanship.



John Thiel



Engineer 3



John holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno, and brings over 20 years of specialized experience in mineral processing. As an assayer and seasoned field professional, he has developed deep expertise in analytical techniques, process efficiency and onsite system evaluations. In Colorado, John applies his knowledge toward septic system design, aligning with local regulations and ensuring sustainable, code-compliant solutions. His CPOW soils certification and NAWT Inspector credentials reflect a strong commitment to responsible environmental stewardship and regulatory precision.

Paul Michels



Supervisor



Paul serves as one of our Surface Construction Supervisor, bringing extensive experience in equipment operation, welding, fabrication, and a broad range of field expertise. He leads surface construction activities with a hands-on approach, translating engineered designs into high-quality structures that reflect our clients’ visions. Committed to craftsmanship and safety, Paul ensures every site operates with precision and efficiency.



Will Dalton



Supervisor



Will serves as one of our construction supervisors and brings a wealth of industry experience to the role. A highly skilled equipment operator, he has worked across a variety of sectors including oil and gas, hydroelectric power, and general construction. His career includes leadership positions as a superintendent and project manager, where he excelled in operational oversight, project execution, and team leadership. Will’s proficiency with a broad range of heavy machinery, combined with his deep technical knowledge and hands-on expertise, makes him an invaluable asset to our team.



Mike McCracken



Mechanic



Mike serves as our company mechanic, bringing years of hands-on experience and technical expertise to the maintenance and repair of all equipment—both surface and underground. His diligent work ensures our crews are consistently equipped with safe, reliable machinery, enabling timely and efficient operations across every project.

Aaron Murphy



Lead Miner



As our Lead Miner, Aaron oversees all facets of underground excavation with a steadfast commitment to precision, safety, and quality. His core responsibilities include managing blasting operations, coordinating material removal, and ensuring the structural integrity of subterranean environments. Aaron works in close partnership with our engineering team to translate technical designs into functional, client-ready spaces—executing each phase with craftsmanship and care. When needed, he also lends his expertise to surface operations, reinforcing his role as a versatile and dependable leader across our projects.



Jake Breidel



Miner 3



Jake is a key member of our underground excavation crew, bringing hands-on expertise and a strong work ethic to every project. With a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency, he plays an integral role in site preparation, blasting operations, and excavation activities. Jake is proficient in operating equipment and consistently demonstrates adaptability by taking on a wide range of tasks across our job sites. His commitment to quality and teamwork makes him an invaluable asset to our field operations.



Dalton Ramsey



Miner 3



Dalton brings several years of underground mining experience to our excavation team, making him a trusted and skilled contributor across multiple operations. He specializes in drilling and site preparation for blasting activities, consistently executing tasks with precision, safety, and efficiency. In addition to his underground expertise, Dalton supports surface operations, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic in every environment. His broad skill set and reliability make him a valuable asset to our crew and a key player in project success.
